The fort of Quriyat which was an important sea port until the 16th century. Wadi Shaab, which is certainly one of the most gorgeous destinations within the Sultanate. Beyond the breathtaking entrance, the Wadi rewards you with views of aquamarine pools, waterfalls and terraced plantations; Kingfishers add glorious splashes of colour. Visit involves a 40 mints walk.

Day 1

MUSCAT – QURIYAT – FINS BEACH – WADI SHAB – SUR – WAHIBA
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the lobby at 0800 hrs, embark your 4wd vehicle and drive towards Sur. This tour along the coast line to Sur offers breath taking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset pristine beaches. Arrive at Quriyat, a very large fishing village between the lagoon and the sea. The port of Quriyat is still guarded by a watchtower. Drive through the coastal road to sur. Arrive at Fins beach(White beach) and stop for a short swim. Continue to ‘Wadi Shab’, Shab in Arabic, literally means ‘Ravine between Cliffs’. Shallow green pools and abundant shade give Wadi Shab a perfect setting for a picnic. Here cold picnic lunch packets can be served. Later you may take a long walk inside the wadi. Return to your vehicle and proceed to Wahiba sands via a small visit of Sur Town. Very soon you will come face to face with the enormous desert and our experienced driver will drive you through the sand dunes to give you a thrill of soft dune driving. After having enjoyed the drives over the lovely dunes you could perhaps meet the Bedouin family to know more about their life style in the desert.

Day 2

WAHIBA - WADI BANI KHALID – NIZWA
After breakfast at 0830 hrs you will be met by your tour guide/driver who will escort you to the comforts of our 4WD vehicle on a trip to the best Wadi in Oman. You will drive through small villages and towns before arriving at Wadi Bani Khalid. This drive through the mountain offers a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape below. You will pass many pretty villages embedded in the mountains. Here the road winds down to the wadi alongside a large, shallow pool fringed with vegetation & ends at a village. We park our vehicles at this point & continue on a short trek to the deep blue pools of the wadi. If you wish you may enjoy a swim in this glorious grace of nature. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes & walking shoes for this trip. You may also enjoy Juices and some fast food at the Coffee shop by the poolside.
After lunch (at own expenses) and spending some time there, come back to your Vehicle and continue driving to reach the Oasis city of Nizwa. Arrive at Nizwa and Check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure.
Overnight stay at Hotel Falaj Daris or similar in Nizwa.

Day 3

NIZWA / BAHLA / JABREEN / MUSCAT
After breakfast at 08:00hrs, proceed on a tour of the Oasis city of Nizwa, which was once the capital of Julanda Dynasty in the 6th and 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings and imposing fort. Visit the Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Yaaruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area, with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a birds eye view of the Nizwa city.
From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved ‘Khanjar’ and ornately designed silver Jewelry. Here on a Friday a unique goat and cattle auction is held. The atmosphere here is electric. After visiting the Fort and Souq, drive to Jabreen to visit Jabreen Castle. En Route stop in Bahla to take a picture of the famous Old Bahla Fort(photo stop) from outside only since Fort is currently closed for renovation. Arrive at Jabreen to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning. This castle has extremely well planned layouts with rooms for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the Majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is really mesmerizing.
After visiting the Castle, proceed to reach Muscat by 1630 hrs.
Evening arrive at Muscat.
